Who operates CompanyLookout

CompanyLookout is a pre-launch project offering a free, manually delivered pilot. It is not presented as an incorporated company. The name and contact details of the data controller are to be confirmed.

What we collect when you request a pilot

• Your work email address (required).
• Optionally, your name, your company name and a short description of what you would like to monitor.
• Which form you used and the date and time of your request.

We ask you not to include company numbers or confidential lists in the form. If you reply to one of our emails instead, we will receive whatever you choose to include in that reply.

How we use it

• To respond to your pilot request and discuss whether the pilot is suitable for you.
• To send you a single acknowledgement email confirming we received your request.
• To notify the operator by email that a new request has arrived.

Submitting a request does not create an account, start monitoring or subscribe you to marketing emails. We do not sell your information.

Service providers

• The website, its database and its email delivery run on the Abacus.AI hosting platform, which stores and processes the information above on our behalf.
• The website uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the page (for example pages viewed, device type and how you arrived). Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser.

Lawful basis and retention

The lawful basis for handling pilot enquiries and how long requests are kept are to be confirmed by the operator.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask for access to, correction of or deletion of your personal information, and you can object to or ask us to restrict how we use it. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
