Pilot terms
Draft — awaiting owner approval. These terms describe the manual pilot only. They are not a contract for a software subscription, and the operator’s identity is still to be confirmed.
What the pilot is
- A free, manually delivered pilot lasting 30 days.
- Covers up to five UK registered companies per participating business.
- The checks included and the reporting schedule are agreed with you by email before the pilot begins.
- Updates are reviewed and sent manually by email. No software account or platform access is provided.
- Instant or continuous alerts are not provided.
What the pilot is not
- No paid subscription begins automatically. Any future paid offer would need a separate agreement.
- Updates are not a credit score, valuation, financial, legal or investment advice, and do not replace professional due diligence.
- Not every proposed check will be available for every company or every pilot.
Public-record limitations
Updates rely on public company records, which may be delayed or incomplete. An absence of updates is not proof that a company is financially healthy. A proposal to strike off is not the same as a completed dissolution. CompanyLookout is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Companies House.
Still to be confirmed by the owner
- The operator’s legal identity and contact details.
- How either side can end the pilot early.
- Any limitation of liability.
- How watchlists and pilot information will be kept confidential and for how long.
- The update frequencies that can be offered.
- Governing law.
